Brygettes Ngana is the Regional Editor, South Rift for the Nation Media Group and is stationed in Nakuru County.
Ngana, who has over 10 years of experience in the media ecosystem, previously worked with KTN.
In the course of her media career, Ngana has been known for her in-depth investigative work and specialized knowledge in health and science communication.
Ngana pioneered TV reporting in Nakuru, becoming the first and only female TV reporter stationed there, which motivated other major media houses to establish a presence in the region.
In 2022, Ngana won an AJEA award in the Mental Health Reporting special category.
In May 2025, Ngana was named Journalist of the Year at the Annual Journalism Excellence Awards (AJEA 2025), organized by the Media Council of Kenya, for their special report, Behind the Byline, which exposed the mental health challenges faced by journalists.
